The staff were patient, professional, and helpful. Breakfast runs from 6 to 9 in the morning, and although it's simple, I found it tasty. The hotel is also an easy walk from the train station and the cinema. There's a well-stocked 7-11 across the street, even at 10:45 PM.

We booked at the last minute without planning ahead, but managed to get a room for the night for a reasonable ¥8000. Fukushima Station is about five minutes away. The front desk service was good, and we enjoyed the room and complimentary breakfast. Everything was well maintained, with a spotless room and a very clean, well-stocked bathroom. It was my first time booking at a ToyoKo inn, and we'll stay with this brand again.

We had a good experience with Toyoko. The rooms were small, but suited us, and they were about 95% identical across the several Toyokos we stayed in recently. For four weeks straight, we enjoyed the basic free breakfast at the different hotels. This one worked well for us because it's near the train station. Good value, clean and quiet, with friendly staff. Their English is limited, but enough for us. A couple of practical things: the shower is over the bath, so you have to climb in, and there's a small step up into the bathroom. The air-conditioning controls are in Japanese. Overall, I was very happy with Toyoko.

The reception team were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a handy spot, only about 200 m from the train station.
