The interior is a little dated, but there's plenty of space. Dinner was fabulous.

The hotel has a lot of stairs and may be hard to get around for anyone with mobility issues. Still, we had a very nice stay. The staff were lovely and helped carry our luggage to the fourth floor. 💖

For my first trip with my dog, I picked this hotel after reading the reviews. The only downside others mentioned was the lack of an elevator, which I also noticed. For a first trip with a dog, I'd highly recommend it. They offered thoughtful extras: walking route suggestions, free dog toys, a simple room cage with no ceiling, and water for dogs who get thirsty after a long journey. They also provide a dog walking kit with a bag rental, water, and poop bags, plus hot towels for wiping paws when you come back. Dogs can walk through the hotel on a leash, and there's an indoor dog run. There were several other heartwarming services, too. I'll definitely return. And the hot springs are Gero Onsen, so no complaints there.

It's a dog-friendly place with an indoor dog run, walking bags to rent, paw towels, a washing area, and more. They give dogs toys, and there's a wide selection so you can pick your dog's favorite, like getting a toy with a children's meal. They even gave a specially wrapped toy to a dog with a birthday coming up.
