Weekdays are a good deal if you want to stay for a long time. Paid members get extra services, including free breakfast. I do wonder whether room service food and similar items come with a separate service charge.

The omurice really was good, just as the reviews said. I got there from the northbound side road off the Meigi Bypass, and it looked like you could park anywhere in the lot. Inside, there was an unmanned front desk where you choose your room on a panel. There were no non-smoking rooms available, though the room wasn't as smoky as I'd expected. I also tried the bubble bath. Checkout is done on the TV, then you pay at the front desk. They wouldn't take new bills.

I booked on Agoda and stayed by myself for two nights and three days. I was surprised to discover it was a love hotel. There were plenty of amenities, like toothbrushes and combs, but I had concerns about the front desk service. The staff weren't rude, but when the TV wouldn't turn on in the morning, nobody answered when I called. I was told to call the front desk when leaving my room. With service like that, I had no idea how long I might have to wait to get out. If I unlocked the door and tried to leave on my own, an alarm would sound, so at times I felt basically trapped.

I come here now and then, and there's a lot to like. The rooms are spacious and generally cleaned well, though the area around the bedside phone could use a better wipe. The ventilation fan has Low and High settings in every room, and the Wi-Fi works smoothly. There's a free water dispenser with hot water, so you can make instant noodles without boiling water in a kettle. Rooms also have a microwave and a personal fridge of about 50L with an ice maker, enough to keep ice cream cold. Weekday prices are lower, around 4000 yen for 5 PM to 3 PM the next day, depending on room rank. Members get one welcome drink each and free breakfast from Sunday to Friday, which is pretty tasty. The food is good and filling, and members pay a little less. I'd recommend the omurice. Staff are very helpful, and you can go out and make reservations, though it seems you have to pay in advance if you leave. Shower pressure adjusts well from weak to strong. I think every room has an electric massager, which guests may appreciate not having to bring or buy. Amenities are pretty complete, including hair dryers and curling irons. Ice, extra towels, and rental chargers are free, which is a nice touch since some places charge for ice. Members can also rent cosplay costumes free, and drinks and food can be ordered with the TV remote. I have a few smaller gripes. The TV remote controls the room lighting, but the five settings, full, 1, 2, 3, and off, aren't consistent from room to room. The difference between full and 1 can be huge or almost nothing, and in some rooms switching from off to 3 makes it too bright. Some lights flicker brightly on 2 or 3 even though they're fine at full. The toilet and bathroom are usually side by side, so the toilet door catches on the bath mat. I know that's probably due to the layout, but it's annoying. Breakfast has to be ordered by phone, even though drinks and dinner can be ordered on the remote, so it'd be nice to order breakfast that way too. When I came back after a long time, there seemed to be fewer member benefits. I think the visit-count perks, the perks for staying in every room and on every floor, and the Owners Room system may have ended. That system gave a 20% discount after using the same room 10 or more times. I might be wrong, and I'd appreciate being corrected if so. I checked the website, rooms, and TV hotel menu, but there was almost no explanation, which made me sad. If it had been explained, I'd have just thought, "Oh, the benefits have been reduced." I understand benefits can shrink because of the recession and pandemic, but having no explanation anywhere is unacceptable from a guest's point of view. I'd also like ice cream for around 200 yen added to the menu. It gets hotter, and I'd enjoy something cold after a bath.

The lighting is operated from the TV remote, but the choices are limited. You can't light just certain areas or set the brightness where you want it. Still, this is really good value for the facilities and clean rooms, and the long free-time and overnight stays beat some of the nicer hotels in the prefecture. It's a useful place to relax for a while. Member meals cost very little and are as tasty as food from regular restaurants, so they're better value than eating out. I especially like the omelet rice, since you can choose the amount of eggs, rice type, and sauce. Chromecast compatibility is a plus too.
