You do have to carry your luggage up a short flight of stairs to reach the main entrance. Still, it’s a very good deal for most travelers, including fellow Japanese visitors. It’s on the quieter edge of the nightlife area, with easy options for dinner and a late-night snack. My room was spacious for the price, and the place feels more like a boutique hotel than a standard one. The staff were friendly. There’s free coffee, water refills, and a selection of extra shampoos, conditioners, and body wash if you’re particular about those or want to try something different. The bath and toilet are a little cramped, but that’s what I’d expect in Japan. I think it’s a good choice for an easygoing, adventurous crowd.
