Fujino Kirameki

We arrived without expecting much and left amazed. Mount Fuji is right in front of your room, and waking up to it hardly feels real. Room W1 was spacious, well designed, and had a stunning view. The bedding and private deck felt carefully considered, and sitting outside to watch clouds move around the mountain was a highlight. The food was far better than we expected at a glamping site. Local ingredients and presentation were both top tier, almost like a luxury ryokan meal in the middle of nature. Across the street there's a beautiful shrine and temple, plus a wooded path that leads into the city for a walk or a bit of exploring. The surroundings are serene, peaceful, and very photogenic. It was one of our most memorable stays in Japan, just the quiet getaway we wanted. We'd come back, and Room W1 is the one I'd choose.

My daughter brought me here, and I’m so grateful she did. The view of Mount Fuji right in front of me was amazing. The room was exactly the one I’d seen on Google Maps, and it was clean and really comfortable. This place gave me an experience I’d never had before.

The dome was cozy and comfortable for our group of four, with an open view of Mt Fuji. Dinner and breakfast are included, and you cook them on the patio outside the room. There was plenty of meat at dinner, but breakfast didn’t suit everyone in our group, and we ate only about half. You can’t choose the breakfast items in advance. The price is at the high end for glamping. Also, the main road runs right alongside the site, and since it climbs a bit, trucks and bikes can get pretty loud.

The service was excellent, and the food was a highlight, especially the lamb, scallops, and truffle dressing. I’m not usually much of a scallop fan, but the sauce made them delicious. Seeing Mount Fuji was stunning too, and this was my first glamping trip, which I really enjoyed. It did feel a bit pricey. If they’re trying to be environmentally conscious, they could use less paper for cups and trays.
