We loved this hotel so much that we were sad it wasn't available for the second part of our Tokyo trip. It was our first hotel in the city. The rooms are small, like everywhere else in Tokyo, but very clean and equipped with everything you need. Service was impeccable, and the reception staff were extremely nice. After walking 20k steps around Tokyo, I quickly learned how good it feels to soak in the public bath's hot tub. There's no metro nearby, which could be an issue, but it didn't bother us. We walked to most places, including Shinjuku in 30 minutes, or took cabs to major hubs like Shibuya to start the day, then walked back at night. Taxi fares were always reasonable for us, though we're from Northern Europe and used to higher prices. Plenty of buses, including the Hachiko community bus, also run along the hotel route. The area is quiet, even when stadium events like concerts bring fans through, since they were quiet as people usually are in Japan. We'd happily recommend the hotel.

The staff were fantastic, and the rooms felt modern, clean, and comfortable. If you want easy access to swimming facilities and good running routes, this hotel is a great pick. It's between two stations in a quieter pocket just beyond the Shinjuku and Shibuya hubs, yet only one train stop from each. Harajuku's trendy streets are also within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The room was a surprise: very clean, spacious, and with an amazing city view. Staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The location is excellent, about a three-minute walk from the Ginza line, so getting around was easy. The quiet neighborhood has plenty of parks and restaurants. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again next time I'm in Tokyo.

The onsen was wonderful, with a jacuzzi and cold plunge bath. Breakfast was a delicious buffet. Order it ahead for a discount, or pay the full price when you arrive to eat. Laundry was easy, too: the ¥800 machine washes and dries everything within two hours, so there's no need to switch machines between cycles. The location is great, with metro lines nearby and restaurants and shops an easy walk away.

The staff were so kind, especially helping us arrange our luggage transfer to Kyoto. We’ll miss you all! The hotel itself is beautiful, too. It’s right by the rugby and baseball stadiums, with the Olympic stadium and park just down the street. The park is a nice spot for coffee, a stroll, or watching locals walk their dogs. Sayonara Tokyo!
