The staff were very kind and friendly, and even gave my baby a toy. We had a spacious Japanese-style room with a great view of Fuji Mountain. The in-room bathtub was small, but fortunately there was a hot spring facing Fuji Mountain. Breakfast tasted good, though having the same dishes every day got tedious when staying more than one night.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the view of Mt Fuji was incredible. The rooms are on the older side, but everything was immaculately clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the Onsen was great, with its own view of Mt Fuji. There’s also a lounge where guests can enjoy the mountain view if their room doesn’t face it.

Every room has a view of Mt. Fuji. The hotel is outside Gotemba city centre, but only an easy five-minute drive away. If you have a car, it makes a good base for visiting nearby attractions.

I’d hoped to see Fuji, but the weather didn’t cooperate, and it snowed in the morning. The room was good, though I wasn’t keen on the carpet. Breakfast was very good.

We hadn’t realized what we were booking as non-locals, so we ended up with traditional Japanese rooms and futons to sleep on. Even so, the hotel blew us away. It was an amazing experience, and every room looks out toward beautiful mount Fuji 🗻
