I came mainly to try the breakfast, during my yearly visit to Gujo, and stayed on September 6th. The rice and vegetables, grown locally where the water is so clean, were delicious. I remember thinking, “That’s exactly what breakfast at a guesthouse should be.” I’d come back just for that meal. There’s only one group staying each day, so I could relax without worrying about other guests. The place was tidy and comfortable, and I enjoyed a walk in the lovely countryside in the morning. At checkout they suggested a few spots to see. I got a little turned around, but found a waterfall-like place where the clear water really stood out. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in the area.
