We checked in at 6:00 PM and had a great stay. Our warm, cozy room was super comfortable, and the balcony looked out on a majestic scene that could’ve been straight from Frozen. ❄️ The hotel entrance is mesmerizing too, with a country-style look tucked into a snowy forest. It’s a paradise for snow lovers. Watching and joining the other guests skiing, sledding, and playing in the snow was a lot of fun. There aren’t halal options at the restaurant, but the service was excellent. Reception helped book our Express Highway bus tickets and arranged a ride to the bus stop. We felt safe and welcome. It’s a beautiful experience.

I loved having marshmallows by the fireplace in the lobby. Breakfast was great each morning, and there’s a choice of Japanese or Western style. If you’re staying a couple of days, I’d try both. The waiter is polite and welcoming. It’s mind-boggling how much cutlery he handles for a Japanese breakfast, yet he does it with a smile. The rooms are well appointed, and you can see the ski resorts from up by the onsens.

Full of character, this stylish hotel has Swiss mountain themed decor and has kept its charm from the bubble era when it was built. The ski resorts are close by.

The town was quiet when we drove in with our rental car. This looks like the largest hotel around, and it felt very cozy. The staff were friendly, and there was plenty of parking. Our room was spacious too. The onsen is small but well maintained. Dynaland is about a 15 minute drive away, and there’s a little open space where kids can play in the snow.

A hot bath on the 5th floor has a jacuzzi function and isn't too hot. It isn't an onsen. There are lots of vending machines, and the hotel is very close to the main road. The room was fairly spacious, and the hotel itself is spectacular. It also has many essential amenities. When it's snowing, you can play in the snow and roast marshmallows.
