Resort Seapiross

A little heaven by the port for a few days. The rooms are spacious, and breakfast was pretty good. Loved it.

We stayed in a Japanese-style room with two beds and one futon. There was room for a table too, which made it nice to relax together as a family. The room was clean, had good amenities, and even had large towel hangers with enough space for four people. The bath and toilet were new, so our stay was very comfortable. The hotel is right in front of the memorable Sokodo Port and the beach, which must be especially handy in summer. We visited in winter and enjoyed being able to pop out for a walk or just hang out. The staff were friendly, kind, attentive, and impressively quick at their jobs. I imagine summer rooms are hard to get without booking early. I hope they can help Hachijojima recover. We could watch the sunrise comfortably from our room and nearby, and it made for a special start to the day. The island's crisp air gave us a real lift. Later, the quiet night sky filled with stars, a breathtaking sight that's hard to experience in the city and one I'll remember for a long time. Seapiros is a luxurious villa with a tropical Hachijojima feel. The breakfast was a highlight, with local ingredients carefully arranged and enjoyed in a relaxed setting. The sea and tourist spots are very close, so getting around was easy and stress-free. Being able to relax while feeling connected to the island's nature gave the stay both a restful and adventurous feel. It's a special place I'd highly recommend for a visit to Hachijojima.

I stayed over New Year's in 2026. The Balinese-style atmosphere was lovely, and the room, toilet, and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I especially liked that the bath wasn't a modular unit, and there was a grassy area too. The breakfast buffet was high quality, with sweet red bean soup, osechi, and sake making it feel just right for New Year's. The harbor and coast are close enough for an easy trip to see the ocean. It's reasonably priced, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
