The staff were attentive and courteous, and seemed genuinely interested in how I was doing. Breakfast suited me too, with toast, egg omelette margin and jam. The room was comfortable and roomy, the bathroom was good, and best of all, my nose didn’t nearly hit the wall when I used the throne. Whatever I needed was there. This was the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far on this trip. If you’re a non-smoker, make sure to get a non-smoking floor.

It was easy to explore the city on foot or by tram from here. The airport bus stop is right in front, Lawson is across the road, and restaurants are within walking distance. My standard double room was bigger than I expected, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was quite a strong cigarette smell on every floor.

The room was very clean, the location was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a coin laundry, though a change machine in the room would be useful. Connecting to the wifi requires a router, and that wasn’t obvious from the room since the sign was posted in the elevator.

The location is great, with the famous hakodate bay about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The service was great too. One time, when I came in with my shoes soaked from the rain, the front desk immediately lent me a dryer to sort out the problem. Worth a visit.

I stayed three nights. The hotel was nice, a decent size, and well equipped. There’s an indoor play area for children, plus free coffee and tea 24/7 and free desserts daily in the main lobby. Lawsons is across the road, the tram stop is a 2 minute walk, and 7-eleven is 3 minutes away. Coin laundry is available.
