We had a great time and had the whole house to ourselves. The rooms were very good, and there was a sauna, a hot bath, and a cold bath. Best of all was the Japanese chef staying in the house. He was really nice, and dinner there was delicious. We’re French and loved the meal, including the great French wine. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

It was way more space than one family needed, so it felt like a bit of a waste sharing it just between us. It’d be perfect for three families to enjoy together.

If you know how to enjoy yourself, this tucked-away retreat for adults is a lovely place to do it.
