Tsumugi

I would happily stay here again. My room was huge and gorgeous, the onsen was great, the food was very good, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Special thanks to Emiko for being a friend during my stay, and to the lovely chef who drove me to Gora Station. ☺️🩷 Getting around by bus and cable car was pretty easy, provided you can walk about 10 minutes. I was told taxis wouldn't come that far, so shipping your luggage might be a good idea. As a solo traveler, my one real drawback was dinner: it took around two hours and felt quite formal. A quicker, more casual option would have been nice.

The onsen was incredibly refreshing, and the coffee was surprisingly good. The rooms were lovely and spacious, the food delicious, and the hospitality amazing. I loved the whole place and would come back again and again.

I loved waking up to the mountain views from the room's balcony. The rooms are really spacious, and the onsen also looks out over the mountains. It was super clean, with a great location, outside the busy city centre but still reachable by bus and on foot from the bus station. The food deserves a special mention. Every meal felt like a gourmet five-star experience, and the staff put so much effort into hospitality. This was my best stay in Japan. I loved the rooms, the views, and the onsen. Thank you.

We accidentally booked the wrong date, but they kindly found a way to accommodate us anyway. The rooms felt cozy and traditionally Japanese, and the food showed how much care had gone into it. We loved trying a typical Japanese breakfast and dinner. What an amazing experience, we hope to return one day!
