After long days on the mountain, the rooms were spacious, cozy, and comfortable, and breakfast, while on the small side, was satisfying. Do try the carbonara and tomato sauce pasta, they were incredible. People greeted us with a smile and were always keen to help. Apricot Pension has a real bed-and-breakfast feel, a refreshing change from our usual hotels. The kind, welcoming staff made us feel more like family than guests from the moment we arrived. It felt like a home away from home and exceeded what we expected. For a personal, cozy stay in Hakuba, this place is special. Highly recommend.

We needed a last-minute night for five people, and Apricot Pension in Hakuba fit us all perfectly. The staff were so kind, and the food was delicious. Wish we'd found it sooner. We'll book again if we're ever in Hakuba.

Getting to the Goryu & 47 Ski Resort was easy: its bus stop is under a three-minute walk away, and it's the first stop on the route, so finding a seat was no trouble. That made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. The hotel has a cozy mountain cabin feel. With snow outside and a crackling fireplace indoors, it was a comforting place to sit with friends, have drinks, and talk. Dinner can be ordered right at the hotel, which was convenient and surprisingly good quality. I was extremely satisfied with the stay.

After a day on the slopes, it was lovely to come back to a warm, cozy place in the snow. Apricot Pension made for an awesome stay, and we can't recommend it enough. We liked being in a quiet, tucked-away spot in Hakuba Echoland while still having convenient access. Our previous place by the main street was noisy at night, with people drinking and carrying on. This one is about a 10-minute walk from the main area and much more peaceful, well worth it. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and made us feel part of the family. The shuttle service was a huge help since we were skiing without a car. It costs the same as the village bus, which seemed very reasonable, and saved us from walking a kilometre to catch the night bus after skiing. Free daytime shuttles go to most major resorts. Just be aware there's no free direct shuttle to Tsugaike or Cortina, so you'd need to arrange a ride or take a bus from Happo Bus Terminal.
