Our family had an awesome stay at Gakuto Villas. The villas are spacious and well appointed, and getting to the Hakuba resorts was easy, with shuttle buses leaving from right outside. The staff were quick to reply on Whatsapp and gave us heaps of local advice. We also found the daily supermarket shuttle really helpful. If you need to rent ski gear, Spicy Wandano is a short walk away. We’ll definitely come back.

We’d happily stay at Gakuto Villas again when we return to Hakuba. It was just the right size for our family of five, with plenty of space and very comfortable beds. The bus network is easy to access: there’s a stop right out front for Happo One, and other resort stops are nearby. The service team were always happy to help and quick to respond on WhatsApp. The daily supermarket shuttle was handy too.

Gakuto Villas felt like a warm, spacious retreat, and we had an amazing time there. It was easy to catch snow shuttles to the different ski areas, and having the rental service so close was great. We really appreciated the daily supermarket trip. Thanks for an amazing stay.

We had an awesome stay as a family of four. The location is central, and the ski bus to the resorts stops right outside. There’s an organised supermarket trip for groceries, and ski hire and restaurants are close by. Highly recommend staying here.

We’ll definitely return as soon as we can. After skiing, having our own washing machine was so handy. The floor heating made the spacious bedrooms and living area really cozy, and these were the most comfortable beds we slept in in Japan. Service was super friendly, with quick replies, and the free transport covered bus pickup and drop-off as well as daily supermarket trips. The ski resort shuttle stops outside, and several restaurants are an easy walk away.
