The balcony was our favorite part, with a lovely view straight toward the Happo-One ski resort. The apartment was roomy and comfortable, and shops and a supermarket were right nearby for everyday supplies. Peter was friendly and thoughtful, and made sure we had what we needed. It stayed warm inside thanks to the underfloor heating. The kitchen had cookware, spices, an oven, microwave, and a large fridge, and having both a washer and dryer was a big help after skiing. There was also parking for anyone driving. A couple of things were less convenient: no slippers were provided, so we bought our own, and one bathroom felt cramped for four of us in the mornings. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the place to people visiting Hakuba.

The beds were so comfortable, especially after a long day snowboarding, and there’s a big living room where friends can hang out. The apartment was really cozy, and Pete was a great host who responded quickly and made booking easy. It’s a short walk to the station, with food and a supermarket nearby. I’d definitely recommend staying here for snowboarding or other winter sports.

Pete was especially kind to his guests. The apartment was warm and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. There’s a food market about five minutes away for supplies, with some gear shops nearby too.

Pete and Shiho‘s service was the best I’ve ever experienced, and both the location and accommodation were fantastic. We planned our Japan trip around availability at Hakuba Downtown Apartments after reading earlier reviews, and it absolutely lived up to them. A must for a family trip to Hakuba!

We came all the way from Bangkok, Thailand and had a wonderful time at Hakuba Downtown Apartment. The accommodation was great and the service superb. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip!
