Steve and Mikyo were incredibly helpful, and having them live next door meant they were always around for questions. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, two bathrooms, and a laundry room that was handy for drying ski gear. We stayed as two families, and Steve took us grocery shopping for the week when we arrived. There's also a 7Eleven about a 10-15 minute walk away. Getting around was easy: ski resort buses stop within walking distance, and rides are included with the Valley ski pass. We sometimes paid extra for Ubers for convenience with the younger kids. Booking takes patience, but we did eventually get one. In the evenings, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, including The Cherry Pub a couple of minutes away and more options in Echoland. We ate at The Cherry Pub, The Bear Cafe, Pietro, Marutama Ramen & Bar, 1F Yoro-No-Taki, and the 2F Yakiniku restaurant, and all the food was great. I'd book restaurants ahead; some can be booked through the TableCheck app. We didn't need to go to Nagano for snow monkeys, since we were lucky enough to see them at the bottom of Kokusai ski slope. That's where Evergreen Ski School met, and we recommend them. We rented skis from Rhythm.

We stayed in apartment “B,” and it was good value for the money. It’s brand new, very clean, and all the appliances were new and in great shape. A couple of things could be better: there aren’t closets for clothes, which is fine if you’re happy living out of a suitcase, and there’s no oven if you want to make bread or pizza. The bathrooms are small, though the shower booth is roomy. There are two bathrooms and three toilets. I might have put a bathtub in the cleaning room for a relaxing soak after skiing. None of that was a big problem, especially at this price, though there’s a lot of competition nearby. Keep building on the good reviews and continue making improvements. I’d definitely recommend it.

The beds were really comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. There’s a huge sofa facing a big TV with Netflix and other streaming services, plus a kitchen stocked with pretty much everything you’d need. It feels roomy but still cosy, so it worked well for hanging out with friends or getting away with family. The people running the place were lovely. We’ll come back!

The big TV connected to Wi-Fi, so I could watch Netflix, which was great. There were lots of beds, and the interior felt spacious and clean. There was also a shower room and toilet, and the kitchen was nice. I’d be happy to stay here again.

I liked being able to start cooking straight away since the kitchen was so convenient. The place was stylish and had plenty of room, and the large, high-definition TV made watching movies much more fun. It was amazing. I’d love to come back.
