Hot Spring Hakuba Symphony

We were a party of four, and having a van driver take us to the snowboarding area for less than the public bus would have cost was a real plus. The hosts were helpful, shared useful information, and speaking Chinese made things convenient for us. The accommodation was very comfortable, and we appreciated having the onsen.

The owners made our time in Hakuba wonderful. They shuttled us to the slopes and shared plenty of good recommendations. Our room had separate sleeping and lounge areas and was spacious. Having a natural hot spring, an onsen, directly connected to the hotel made it easy to relax and recover after skiing. Hakuba Symphony has all the essentials, along with service that goes above and beyond. I’d highly recommend it.

It’s a lovely place for a homely bed and breakfast, and the owners and staff were incredibly helpful throughout. They regularly went out of their way for us. The shuttle stop serving several ski resorts is less than 100ms away, so it’s easy to get around. We had an amazing stay at Hakuba Symphony, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Hakuba.

Sugiyama San, who was working there, was delightful and made our trip feel special. The food was amazing, and after skiing the onsens were essential. Our comfortable rooms had traditional Japanese touches. This charming bed and breakfast made our time in Hakuba everything we hoped for and more. It’s a short drive to Tsugaike and Happo-One ski areas, which was handy. Five stars, and we’ll definitely stay again on our next visit.
