Lodge Sanrokukan

We could really relax in the room. It was spacious, had a lovely atmosphere, and, after a cold day skiing, felt wonderfully warm. The bath had a great feel too. The toilet and bathroom were very clean, and there was even a Dyson hair dryer. They also provided coffee, cafe au lait sticks, hot water, and a microwave. It was our first Hakuba ski trip in seven years. At my son's request, we looked for somewhere near Hakuba Station and chose Lodge Sanrokukan. The owner was very kind and even checked in about the hospital where my injured son had been taken. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it.

I was there last May, and really liked both the garden and the interior. I'd be happy to stay again on another visit to Hakuba. It's too bad meals aren't served during the green season.

The Japanese-Western style room was roomy and comfortable, and I especially liked the Japanese-style bathroom. They even gave me tangerines after my bath, which was a nice touch. I got caught in the cold snap that was in the news. I'm somewhat used to snow from snowboarding trips from the Kanto region, but this amount was overwhelming, and my rental car couldn't get out of the parking lot on checkout day. I felt bad for the trouble I caused the owner. He helped me a lot, though, and I was able to get out safely and make it home. I'm very grateful. Thank you so much!

The owners were so welcoming, and I really want to stay here again. The inn sits roughly halfway between Goryu and 47. The owners have great taste, with stylish decorations, a fireplace, and a traditional Japanese hearth. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and relaxing by the fireplace after dinner was lovely. Both breakfast and dinner, made by the owners, were delicious and came in generous portions. There were lots of fruit liqueurs that all looked tempting, so choosing was hard, and the original wine was good too. The bath isn't a hot spring, but it's a stylish private bath. There were stink bugs, though, haha. One small thing, I wish the breakfast bread had been baked a little longer. (^^)
