Everything was so clean, and the host even prepared the bath for me. I really appreciated that. The room had been renovated, with a lovely new-tatami smell, comfortable duvet and mattress, and a bathroom and toiletries I liked. There's also a shared kitchen guests can use. This was the kindest host I've met, and I'd stay here again if I come back to Hakuba.

The location is handy, a short walk from Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal and close to lots of good places to eat. Staff were some of the friendliest I've met, very welcoming and always ready to help. Everything was spotless, including the rooms, washrooms, and shared areas. I also appreciated the ski drying room and in-house onsen after a long day on the slopes. You can ask for a Yukata too, which adds a cozy traditional touch. A mirror in the room would've been useful, though there are plenty in the washrooms. They don't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, a comb, or shaving kit, but there's a 24/7 LAWSON nearby. Great value, and I'd definitely come back.

I wish we'd booked more than two nights. This was the best place we stayed in during our two weeks in Japan. The owner was friendly, the property was quiet and clean, and our spacious, comfortable Japanese-style room was just right. The bath was lovely for relaxing after skiing, and they helped us arrange Yamato transport for our skis.

I spent four nights here on a solo ski trip and had an excellent stay. The tatami room shares its bathroom and toilet, and the whole wooden building has a vintage, gorgeous feel, though the facilities seem nearly brand new. The location is great too, with Hakuba bus terminal, a convenience store, and several ski rental shops nearby. Happo One is walkable as well.

The hosts were kind, the place was clean, and it had a cozy feel. There's a kitchen area for making your own food, and the coffee was great. It feels more Japanese than the bigger hotels near Happo. Happo bus terminal is a short walk away, with shuttle buses to the other resorts. You can walk to the Happo One lifts too, though it's a tougher walk if you're not used to carrying ski gear through snow.
