The owner was really nice, and the service was great. Breakfast was served buffet-style every morning, and the living and dining areas were kept clean. There's a heated shed inside for skis, boards, boots, gloves, or wet jackets, which was super handy. Our room's bathroom had towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The location is super convenient, with several resort shuttles stopping right outside and other bus stops a short walk away. Restaurants, convenience stores, and all sorts of shops are close by.

The owner was so helpful when our luggage went missing, even driving us to the local post office. He also picked us up from the station. We had a great time staying at Uchimaru Hakuba earlier this year. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Mr Chan was friendly and easy to approach, and helped us whenever we had questions, sharing what he knew or looking things up for us. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day. It was our first ski trip in Hakuba, and our family had a lovely stay at Uchimaru Hakuba. The family room was clean and spacious, with the essentials provided. We could relax or chat with other guests in the lounge, and the kids made friends and enjoyed the games room. There was a pile of snow behind the lodge, with sleds the children could borrow. They had lots of fun playing there. We'd love to come back.

Mr. Chan made our Christmas Eve extra festive with wine and snacks, and throughout our family stay at Uchimaru Hakuba he was friendly, approachable, and accommodating. He prepared breakfast for us each morning, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping, which we hadn't expected. The dry room for ski gear was practical and kept everything organized and in good condition. The place was warm and well maintained, and Mr. Chan clearly cared about our comfort. He made the trip special. We'd happily recommend Uchimaru Hakuba to anyone looking for a guest-focused place to stay. Thank you, Mr. Chan!

Chen gave me useful tips on ski fields, rental shops, and getting around Hakuba. The location was good, and the room was clean and cozy, though I would've liked a bigger bed. He also picked me up from the JR station and dropped me at the bus stop on my last day. It was snowing heavily, so that made a huge difference. Thank you.
