We had a restful night, and the beds were comfortable. We checked in in the early evening and appreciated the front desk staff's efforts, especially the ladies. They didn't really speak English, and our Japanese was limited too, but they showed us a simple English explanation of how to use the car park, so everything went smoothly.

The sunrise over the mountains from the upper floors was fantastic. I took the photo from the 10th floor. Breakfast was a delicious buffet, and there's a public room and hot springs on the second floor. I chose the standard single room plan for 9700 yen, but the room felt quite narrow to me. It did have a shower in the room.

I stayed for four nights and found the price very reasonable. The facilities were new, and there was a hot spring bath. It's also very close to the station in the city center. This was a great place for me to stay in Hamada.

The staff made a very good impression, both the men and women at the front desk. When I dropped off my luggage before check-in, they were very helpful. I also enjoyed the free drink service on the first floor, perhaps including alcohol, and the breakfast buffet was included at no extra charge. There was a bath where I could stretch out and relax, too. It's a really convenient spot, right in front of Hamada Station and about a two-minute walk away. Parking is available. I'd use Route Inn again.
