I found Moegino Sanso on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. This Japanese-style auberge takes only two groups a day, and has the kind of peaceful setting you'd want to keep to yourself. Dinner at the counter included fish dishes, and the conger eel tempura was delicious. The menu changes with the seasons, so I'd like to visit at different times of year. Breakfast was delicious too, with rice cooked in a pot. Momi no Yu hot spring is nearby, making this a lovely place to get away to quiet surroundings. Highly recommended.
