The clean, perfect room and kind staff made the hotel a great place to stay. The tea ceremony was touching, too. Breakfast was the letdown: even the bread was too sticky.

The matcha ceremony was really well conducted and lovely to attend. The room was clean and perfect, and the staff were very kind. Great hotel.

A nice tea ceremony is available at the hotel, and its restaurant makes healthy comfort food. The champon is enough for two, so keep that in mind. This is an excellent small hotel in rural Kyushu. Each night's stay includes a free pass to the local bathhouse across the street. The beds are decent, though the pillows may not give enough support. I don't think they suit North American frames and weights very well, since we're generally a heavier group.

The room felt spacious, and everything in it was new. The hotel was very clean, with a large parking lot, and the staff were kind and helpful.

We loved the complimentary tea ceremony, and the shuttle to Arita made it easy to connect to further transport to Imari and elsewhere. The rooms are large and very clean, and breakfast is fantastic. Free access to the nearby onsen was a nice extra. There's also a coin laundry with dryers, which came in handy. A few great local restaurants and a small shop are nearby. We loved our stay, the people, and the area.
