The Japanese meals were a real highlight, especially the white rice with the side dishes. We included breakfast and dinner, and both were delicious. The towels were a bit thin, and the amenities were portioned just right for the number of guests, so use them sparingly. For the area, the beach access, and local accommodation and dining prices, I thought this was a very good-value place to stay. We came with our four-year-old to visit Morito Beach and were really happy with the stay. The front desk staff and everyone at Masakichi were so kind that we felt comfortable there. Morito Beach is very close, and there’s an outdoor washing area at the hotel. We could take a walk by the water before breakfast, then swim after eating and head out sightseeing. It’s also near supermarkets and cafes, so we’d like to come back for another beach trip. A couple of notes for next time: the room has a unit bath, so if you want a long soak, book the jacuzzi for an extra charge when you reserve. Masayoshi serves only Japanese food and doesn’t have coffee, so anyone who needs caffeine should plan ahead. Thanks to the hotel and Masayoshi for such a lovely trip.

I remember visiting more than 30 years ago, and it’s been renovated a lot since then. The location is convenient, and the staff are really nice.

After the COVID-19 pandemic canceled my daughter’s school trip, she went with some close friends to stay here. The staff were warm and friendly, which made me feel comfortable letting her go. We all went to the nearby beach together, then slept side by side on futons in the Japanese-style room. It gave us some lovely memories. Thank you for everything.
