The surroundings were breathtaking, and the staff were so friendly. We had the dinner-and-breakfast deal, which was great value, and the food was really tasty. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were great, with wonderfully hot water for a bath. The view from every window was gorgeous too. We only stayed one night, but I loved it and would have stayed longer if our schedule allowed. I rarely write reviews, but I’d definitely recommend this place and come back.

We booked this guesthouse during a cycling trip around Shikoku, and it turned out to be one of the best places we stayed. If you’re riding from Tatsuyama, the loop around the little cape just before the guesthouse is worth doing. The owner was lovely and let us move into an available private room, where we had beautiful views of the water from every angle, even from the toilet. He also gave us extra time at checkout so we could plan the rest of our trip. The WiFi was good, the room was well furnished though a bit dated, and we slept well. It’s a much nicer guesthouse than its name or website might lead you to expect.

The meals were delicious, and Momoi san was a lovely host, exactly the sort of person you want around when you’re there to relax. I’d really like to come back with my father.

The manager is so lovely, and the room was comfortable. Everything was very clean too. For the price, it’s more than worth it.
