44617 Four Seasons Yamoto

We were happy with the price and had a very satisfying stay. Four of us, including the kids, shared one room with two extra futon sets, and it was incredibly cheap, so the little inconveniences didn’t matter much. The laundry room had plenty of machines available, with washers and dryers separate. A hot spring was a convenient two-minute walk away and cost ¥700. The nearby yakiniku place, Horumon Moto?, was delicious. It seemed to be used by all sorts of people. There was an older man next door who looked like he might be staying long-term or even living there, and a group that seemed to be at a children’s soccer training camp was in the breakfast area.

I liked being able to have an early meal, and it was delicious. The hotel is close to the station. The bathroom and toilet are separate, so I could take a long bath just like I do at home, and they even provided bath salts.

The breakfast was tasty, even though there wasn’t much choice, and the place itself was comfortable. The trouble was the awful noise coming from upstairs, which is especially noticeable in an apartment building.

The front desk even gave me a birthday present since I happened to be staying during my birthday month. That was a nice surprise. I was in Yamoto on business and used the hotel for the trip. It feels like a dorm or a small two-story apartment building for people on their own. After picking up the key at reception, I found a spacious room, about 8 tatami mats, with a separate kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. It had air conditioning and heating, a TV, desk, bed, reclining sofa, and wifi, so I was very comfortable.
