Hotel Sindbad Yamagata (Adult Only)

I stayed in Room 105 on October 5, 2023 (Thu), my ninth visit. The main change for me was the free breakfast, and it was a shame the complimentary French toast for hotel guests had run out. Weekday stays run a generous 17:00 to 12:00 the next day, with excellent service for under 6000 yen. Even with a few drawbacks, I find it very satisfying. Hotels this good are rare. On March 7, 2023 (Tue), I came for my seventh stay after a long break. The prices were still low and the service still high, a rare combination for the cost. My eighth stay was June 4, 2023 (Sun), though I don't remember the room number. Earlier, on August 6, 2020 (Thu), I stayed in Room 115 for the sixth time. A few things have bothered me: when paying, I heard people talking and learned they were waiting, which felt uncomfortable. The hot water stopped when I pulled the shower hose, though there was a warning sign. Renovations were happening while the hotel stayed open, and it felt awkward to see the contractors there when I checked out the next day. Apart from those things, the service has remained excellent. I'll use it again.
