The laundry setup was a thoughtful touch: there were four washer-dryers, and the TV showed their status. Parking wasn’t on site, but the hotel provided nearby options and I found a spot. We skipped breakfast this time because we wanted a lie-in, though we’d really enjoyed the breakfast at the Nagoya Richmond. A peek into the dining hall while collecting welcome drinks showed comfortable booth and table seating, and food listed for the next morning. Maybe next time! 😭 Our room had plenty of daylight, which I love, even without much of a view. It was spotless, with no strange smells or stray hairs, and the housekeepers deserve a big thank you. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was great, and the water got as hot as we like, which always makes my wife happy. This was our second Richmond stay of the trip, after Nagoya, and we enjoyed this one just as much. It’s confirmed that we’ll look for a Richmond first when we come back to Japan. Thanks for taking care of us, Richmond. Arigato Gozaimasu, see you next time. 🙇🏻🙇🏻♀️

We stayed four nights during our Osaka trip. The room had more space for our luggage than hotels in the city center at a similar price, which really matters when traveling in Japan. Nagatha station on the Chuo Line is nearby, so getting into the center was easy.

There was plenty of room in the room, and the hotel is close to the metro and Lawson. Parking is available for 1000 yen.

The drinks were unlimited, and the room was roomy, clean, and backed by great service. It’s a little way from the city, though the nearest train station is only a five-minute walk.

The rest of the place was good, but the TV would come on by itself at night. In January, the AC also kept switching on and off, and the room got boiling hot.
