My first solo trip felt safe and meaningful at Sekai Hotel, and I left with more confidence and some really warm memories. The neighborhood has a vintage feel, with little food stalls, florists, vegetable shops, salons, and other small places. It’s about five minutes on foot from Fuse Station and around ten from the JR station. Building 4 is right across from a FamilyMart, which was handy. Sekai Hotel has several nearby buildings, around ten if I remember right. The room was spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The shower room and toilet were especially roomy and well kept, and you can borrow a hairdryer. The shower and powder rooms were large and maintained well, too. I appreciated getting both a large and small towel, plus plastic cups at no extra charge. Towels were changed daily. There isn’t a lot of luggage space in front of the bunk. My cabin-size bag fit fine, but I’m unsure how it would be with a larger case. I arrived close to midnight and got a bit lost because most shops had shut. I messaged the admin on WhatsApp without expecting a response so late, almost 1 a.m., but they replied and walked me through self check-in. I was really grateful. Staff were friendly throughout. At one point I thought I’d lost my cable, but I’d just put it in another bag 😅 They were kind and helpful, and I’m sorry again for the mix-up.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and had everything I needed, and I found the rates affordable for the facilities. The hotel’s modern interior looks great, especially if you’re a young traveler or enjoy making visual content. I stayed four days as a tourist from Indonesia, and felt welcome and comfortable. The owner’s hospitality stood out. He speaks fluent English, so it was easy to communicate, which was especially helpful for me as an international guest. It was a cozy place to unwind after exploring Osaka and nearby areas. If I return to Japan, Hotel Fuse would be my first accommodation choice. Highly recommended!

The dormitory room was clean and tidy, and the whole place had a lived-in, home-like feel. I stayed eight nights, and Kano checked me in with a lot of warmth and help. She gave me a map of the Fuse shopping district, explained what she recommended nearby, and showed me around the room. The people and surrounding area made it feel like you could actually live there. A surprisingly good, unique stay. I’d come back and recommend it. Thanks, Sekai Hotel.

The room was clean and the train station is close by. I also liked the map Sekai hotel made showing food options and things to do. Staff were warm and friendly, with lots of useful recommendations. The shopping district has a relaxed, lazy-afternoon feel, with plenty of little gems and lovely people. It really felt like home, and I’d love to come back!

December was very cold, and there was no heater in the room. The old aluminum windows seem like they could be over half a century old, and street noise came straight through. The worst was hearing pounding footsteps all the time. I didn’t find the stay comfortable at all.
