We were four adults with our toy poodle on a family trip to Toyama. The container-style glamping place is in a great spot, within walking distance of Himi's fishing port. The room amenities are basic, and four adults felt a bit cramped. We made it work with three of us on the queen bed and one on the flat sofa, and had fun treating it like a stay at a friend's house. Meals meant a BBQ with our pet while looking out over the beautiful Himi coast. There was Himi beef thigh, thick-cut pork belly, firefly squid ajillo, curry 🍛 and hamburgers 🍔. It was a huge amount of food, and we were completely full 💯. The accommodation also has showers, and it was nice to get free tickets to the Himi Onsenkyo Sōyu bathhouse in the same complex.

The terrace BBQ was filling and satisfying. There were four adults and two children in our group, and the kids got the same portions as the adults, so they couldn't finish theirs. The place was clean overall. Toothbrushes and other amenities were available but hard to find, so clearer placement or signs would help.

The food was impeccable, from the Himi beef to the vegetables and firefly squid ajillo. The birthday plan included a cake, which made for a wonderful birthday. Towels were provided whether we used the on-site shower or the public bath next door, so we had less to pack. I put the occasion I wanted in the booking, and the room was decorated for it. I got excited as soon as I walked in. The view of Toyama Bay was beautiful, and the room was perfect for photos. The only little disappointment was that one of the age balloons had popped when I arrived.

The container room isn't very spacious, as I already knew before coming, but we had a great stay. The location was good, and we could grill meat on the terrace with the hot plate we brought. I stayed during Golden Week and had a few questions beforehand. They answered each one kindly, so I felt at ease checking in.
