There's a lot of potential here, and the view and roomy, clean room helped make it reasonable value, perhaps middle of the range. Staff were lovely, parking was plentiful, and the room was easy to get to. The main streets are a 10-minute walk away, so I don't see why people use other transport. The place is badly neglected and needs serious maintenance. Cleaning can't fix the stains, worn carpet, old paint, and old-man smell. The room could use modernising, and the Wi-Fi could be better, though strong LTE SIMs worked fine for us. Investors, get involved. It's a shame to see the building deteriorating.

The ocean view from the clean room was brilliant, and dinner was delicious. The staff were very hospitable, too. The hotel itself feels worn out and run down. The rotemburo was clean and had a nice view, but the facilities haven't been maintained, which took away from the experience.

The staff were really friendly, and the place has a lot of potential, but it badly needs updating. The roof leaked, the hallway was dirty, and everything seemed closed or rundown. Our room had bugs in the bathroom, just one power point, and Wi-Fi that didn't work.

The onsen water was good, and the view from the room was breathtaking. Still, the hotel is old and unrepaired, with a lot of things no longer working. The carpets are stained, worn, and smelly, and there was an old-man smell everywhere. It's too bad, because this place has so much potential. It must have been a gem once, and a four-star hotel.

The view over Hirado Castle, the bridge, and the bay is incredible, and the hotel is in a beautiful spot. The onsen was great, and both dinner and breakfast were very good. The place does need a major remodel, though. Everything feels dated, and there's no Wi-Fi in the rooms.
