I stayed in a traditional Japanese room that was comfortable and spacious. This hostel has a relaxed feel, helpful staff, and works well for solo or couple travellers hoping to meet people. The common area has plenty of space, with lots of games and cards. There's a cheap vending machine with beer, water, and juice, and reception has helpful staff, tips, and guides. The kitchen is well stocked, and there's a washer and dryer.

We had a double room with its own bathroom, something the other hostels we visited didn't include, and it was the cheapest room we'd paid for in Japan. The bed and room were comfortable, and the staff were very helpful with dinner plans and booking us onto a tour. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hostel.

The rooftop terrace was great, and the kitchen had everything you need. The lounge area was fine, though it could use more space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our clean double room had an okay bed that was a bit hard, and the ensuite bathroom was good. The location is convenient, less than a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima train station. I'd recommend staying.

The Japanese-style room is well worth choosing. The common room and kitchen were clean and kept up nicely, and the rooftop patio was cool, although the view is only of nearby high-rise office buildings. It's about two blocks from the main JR train station, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores in the area. A great hostel.
