The location worked well for us, with the Shinkansen station, supermarkets, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of dishes and a nice homemade feel. We also liked the clean tatami rooms and thought the building seemed well maintained and recently renovated, even though the corridors and rooms felt small. The manager's friendly, personal service gave this little boutique hotel its charm. Just keep the 4pm check-in in mind: there's not really a lobby where you can wait around, so arriving after check-in starts is probably best. We stayed in October 2025 and were very happy with the experience.

We had a really nice stay on the quieter side of the station, in a convenient spot. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable, with an updated look. The bathroom is small, so the shower felt like a bit of an adventure. Breakfast, though, had a surprisingly wide selection.

The bathroom is pretty tight, and at over 170cm tall you may find it hard to soak in the tub. The door lock also takes some fiddling to open because it doesn't work properly. Apart from those quirks, the facilities and service were excellent, and the food was delicious. It's fairly close to the station and feels like good value, especially with breakfast and complimentary drinks included. Handy for work too, with both electrical outlets and USB Type A ports. You can pick your own shampoo and conditioner, which you don't see often, including TSUBAKI.

The staff at reception were friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them. Breakfast wasn't a huge spread, but the homemade-style dishes tasted good. The rooms are small but clean, and there are plenty of outlets for charging devices, which is useful for business travelers. The bathroom fixtures feel a bit old. There's a shoe rack just inside the entrance, and everyone has to switch into slippers since shoes aren't allowed in the building. It's somewhat of a walk from the station, but seems like a good budget option.
