Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel

Being next to Hiroshima train station and the Toyota car rental point made getting around easy. We loved the corner room’s city view, and the hotel had a lovely luxurious feel. The room was spotless and roomy, with huge, incredibly comfortable beds that suited our western taste perfectly. Staff were top-notch and very helpful. The cocktail bar and lounge coffee shop were both nice, with well-made cocktails and lots of choice. We didn’t think the Japanese restaurant/tepanyaki was worth the price, though the meal itself was fine. It made our stay very comfortable, and I’d highly recommend it.

The room was spacious by American standards and clean, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is directly connected to the station, just a five-minute walk from the Shinkansen, with transport options to different parts of the city. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I could use the lounge for drinks and happy hour, as well as the free buffet breakfast. I stayed two nights and would highly recommend it.

I accidentally left some very valuable jewelry in my room, and when I returned it was right where I’d left it. Once I realized what had happened, I never worried because I trusted the team completely. The staff were amazing. The hotel was super clean and quiet, with a great view and a convenient spot near the train station and shopping center. I really loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, with both Western fare and traditional Japanese food. Staff were super nice and did everything they could to help. My room was clean, bright, spacious and well maintained. I’ll come back on future business trips.
