Hotel Patio

We were very comfortable here as Belgian tourists, and the price was quite reasonable. The room was spacious, with plenty of room for our luggage, and we didn't notice any hygiene problems. There's a laundromat a six-minute walk away. The receptionist kindly let us into our room three hours before check-in after we asked on a whim, and cleaned it thoroughly. He also carried our luggage up to our floor.

We only had one night here, and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were lovely and attentive, pointed out nearby places of interest, and recommended a restaurant. We found the room very clean, spacious, and comfortable. There were plenty of electrical outlets, and the toilet was separate from the bathroom, which had both a shower and bathtub. Thanks for the hospitality. Excellent value for money, 10/10!

I was staying alone, and the place also seemed to operate as a love hotel. The room itself was pretty ordinary. What unsettled me was that when I left it, all the electricity cut out except for the air conditioner. I checked by recording it on my smartphone, and it made me feel watched, which was a bit scary.

The bed was comfortable, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. We also got fresh towels and water each day. But our room, 305, had sticky marks and splashes on the walls and floor, and there was mold across the walls and ceiling. The whole building reeked of air freshener, while our floor also smelled of cigarettes. We stayed three nights, October 30th to November 2nd, 2024, and paid 19,000 yen. We’re backpacking through Japan from Germany, and our guidebook said love hotels could be an affordable option for tourists. We wouldn’t recommend Hotel Patio.
