NAGI Hiroshima Hotel&Lounge

We were in town for a Carps game, and the location worked perfectly, about a five-minute walk from the train station and lots of stores. There’s an affordable parking lot across the street, which suited our two-night stay. The rooms are very spacious, and the lobby has everything you need to make the stay more enjoyable. It’s a no-smoking hotel, so the outdoor balcony felt comfortable. Nights were peaceful and quiet. Such a wonderful hotel!

One of the biggest rooms I’ve had in Japan, with more than 40sqm for a standard room. It’s possibly the best-equipped hotel I’ve stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot.

The lobby had fresh filtered water, toothbrushes, hair combs, and free disposable slippers to take with you. The toilets were easy to figure out, and my room was super clean. It’s central to most things, and this was my favorite hotel in Japan.

My room was spotless and really spacious, with lovely lighting and decor. The hotel is in a super convenient spot, a seven-minute walk from the main train station and well connected to the tram and light rail that go to most of the best parts of town. At check-in, the receptionist invited me to sit in the lobby lounge, went over everything, and took my passport and address details. I was also welcomed with a warm drink. Since there’s no kitchen for breakfast, they suggested nearby Japanese and Western-style breakfast places. I especially appreciated the hot and cold filtered water on tap in the lobby, with pitchers to take back to the room. If you carry a water bottle like I do, that’s a nice touch, since it seems less common in Japan.
