The room was smaller than I expected, so that's why I'm giving it four stars. Everything was clean and worked well, though, and the AC felt great in the August heat. It's a bit of a hike to the tram with luggage, so you'll need a taxi, but walking there without bags is no problem. Lots of places are close by, including Peace Ave and Peace Park. I had a much better stay than I expected. Aug 2025

The receptionist was lovely and professional throughout, but the parking situation was a major problem. I booked through booking.com because the description said parking was free. That was absolutely false: at reception, I was told there was no hotel parking and that I had to use an affiliated lot for 1500 ¥ per night. I wouldn't have booked if I had known. Even after I showed them their own listing, they wouldn't cover the parking or compensate me. I asked to cancel for free, but the process was just as complicated, and it wasn't clear I'd get a full refund. In the end, I stayed.

You're right in the middle of everything, which is great for the location. The place feels quite old, though, and seems set up for travelling business men, so I wouldn't recommend it for families. The WiFi was the worst I've used in Japan.
