The soundproofing and blackout curtains were impressive, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and stored our luggage for us. There are nice amenities by reception, including toiletries and pour-over coffee. We were in Hiroshima for just one night, and found the hotel quickly, only minutes from the Shinkansen station. We'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to others.

It's a usable base for exploring Hiroshima, but it felt overpriced. During my three weeks in Japan, this was the most expensive hotel and my least favorite. Breakfast was one of the worst I had there and didn't taste fresh. My egg yolk was almost green, which suggests it was overcooked. The soup was an odd breakfast choice and not what I wanted, and I didn't care for the taste. There was strange coffee jelly in the yoghurt, so I left it. Juice or fruit with an omelette would have been much more appetizing. Staff were fine, though not especially friendly. I mistakenly booked for two when I meant one, which I know was my own error, but they wouldn't adjust it at check-in, so I ended up paying for two breakfast coupons. After cleaning, my towels had been removed, and I had to go back to reception that evening to get more. The onseen was okay, but I was disappointed there was no cold pool. There wasn't any tea or coffee in the room. It wasn't a bad stay, just poor value for me.

We chose this hotel for how close it is to the Shinkansen departure. It's fairly new, the rooms are clean, and staff were very helpful. The public bath with its two basins felt like an upscale feature. Breakfast was simple but fresh, and under ¥1000 there's nothing to complain about. We bought breakfast, but couldn't use it because our train left early.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the station, but the rooms are so well soundproofed you'd hardly know it. Staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I'd highly recommend staying here if you visit Hiroshima.

It's an excellent place to stay, clean, tidy, and quiet. The staff deserve a lot of credit, and Hiroshima Station is close enough to walk to.
