A warm, lovely place, with staff who are genuinely welcoming and nice. They treated us really well and helped with recommendations and other things. I'd stay again, and recommend it if you're after a traditional Japanese-style room.

Miura-ya Onsen Hotel nearby is better. On my first visit, they sent three of us to a separate building without explaining anything 😡. When I complained in the dining room, the noise of staff clearing other tables suddenly got louder 😂. The main contractor gave us two drinks for free, but on the second and third visits there wasn't even an explanation. The worst.

The lunch box they gave me was a vegetarian bento, and I wondered whether the main contractor was charging the regular rate 💢. On the first visit, they casually told me I'd be in a separate building and sent me to a two-story building next to the yakitori restaurant across the street. On my second and third visits, they put me in a separate building again, without even apologizing 💢.

The toiletries could be better, but for the price, the service, food, and cleanliness were fantastic. The Japanese-style ryokan was very clean, and the staff were friendly and patient ❤️. We booked dinner and breakfast, and our room had its own toilet.
