I regularly serve as the wedding minister for the hotel's chapel. It's small, but has a lovely, simple country feel. A pipe organ, violin, flute, and one choir singer accompany the hymns. The reception rooms are spacious, and the kitchen puts out a variety of good dishes.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the stay for the price. I picked it because it was fairly cheap, had a room-only option, and was within walking distance of the station. The lobby and rooms felt clean and a bit luxurious, and the staff were very polite. When I asked for disposable chopsticks, they helped me out kindly. Some amenities seemed dated, so it might not be for everyone, but everything was neatly set out. I appreciated the little touches too, like the free bottle of water in the fridge, the artwork, and a copy of the Kojiki in the room. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back on my next business trip.

The breakfast is included in the price, which makes the stay a bargain. It's a buffet, nothing especially fancy, but there's enough to choose from. At New Year's they served ozoni, and seeing the round rice cakes made me feel I was back in Yamaguchi. It was delicious. I stay here whenever I return to Hofu. The wedding hall gives the lobby a luxurious feel, and while the rooms are a little old, that doesn't bother me.

We stayed in a twin room with breakfast in February 2026. It was spacious, clean, and good value. We had two young kids, and the staff kindly arranged an extra bed, which helped a lot. Breakfast was delicious. We booked early, and I still wonder if the price was really that good. I'd stay here again if I get the chance.
