The room is so small I can touch two opposite walls, and the hotel could use a refresh. Things seem clean and are kept in decent repair, but they’re old and didn’t seem that nice even when new. Maybe I’m just used to American-style hotels. It’s inexpensive, with free breakfast and wifi, and feels like the Japanese version of a Comfort Inn.

It’s very close to the station, and breakfast is free. The hotel is old and things like the curtains haven’t been repaired.

The price is reasonable, so I’m not going to nitpick too much. Still, I’d never stayed somewhere that provided a toothbrush but charged for razors, which men really need. It might be best to bring both a spare toothbrush and razor with you. Also, there are no clocks in the bathroom or changing room, so you can’t tell what time it is, which can be inconvenient. In the sauna, be careful on the second tier where the ceiling slopes down. I kept hitting my head just before the exit. I guess some of this comes with an old building.
