Hospitality In Yawatajuku

The staff were so attentive, the cleaning was impeccable, and both breakfast and the guest access area for the benefits were very good. Excellent accommodation. I recommend it, and I'll definitely stay here when I return to Ishihara.

The breakfast was delicious, with mixed rice, white rice, soup and drinks on the left side of the dining area. Pickles and preserved foods on the front table seemed to stay the same each day, while the four items at the back seemed to change. Salmon might be swapped for mackerel, for example, and meatballs for sausages. The seasoned rice was mild enough to eat alongside all the pickles and preserved foods. I stopped here on my way to Tokyo, a little over an hour away by car. The station is within walking distance too. There are 14 parking spaces beside the hotel and another 14 just before the railroad crossing, two minutes away on foot. There's also a lot next to the hotel across a waist-high wall, but apparently that's the wrong one, lol. It's a peaceful spot in a quiet residential area. There's no large public bath, and the unit bathroom was small enough that I had to watch my elbows and knees. The toilet has a bidet, but the seat in my room wasn't heated, so it was cold. Maybe some rooms have a heated seat. No one else mentioned it, so perhaps it was just mine, lol.

The room was a little tight for two people, and you can see the age of some facilities. But the good service, amenities, and breakfast more than made up for those things, and I had a very pleasant stay. I was especially taken with the "Lucido" shampoo and conditioner at the front desk and might start using them regularly. The price drew me in, less than 5000 yen a night with the breakfast buffet included. I'll definitely stay here again.

The facilities are a bit dated, but the price stayed reasonable even when other places were charging more. Breakfast tasted good, though the selection was limited, and raw eggs were available. They also provide takeaway coffee for the room and cotton swabs.
