Nice Inn Hotel Ichikawa Tokyo Bay

Two bunk beds worked for three adults and two children, and the refrigerator and amenities were free. It’s two train stops from Disneyland, with Limousine Bus service to Haneda and Narita. The area is industrial, but the JR station is close. There are two convenience stores nearby, and the next stop, Shin Imamiya Station, has Aeon and a supermarket with discounted bento meals. The awkward part is the schedule: check-in is at 5pm and check-out at 9am. If you leave your luggage from the morning, there’s a fee.

The room was better than I expected, almost like an apartment except there’s no kitchen. The bathroom and entry area felt very clean, but we found large stains on the top bedding layer, and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. On the seventh floor it was quite drafty, though the air conditioner’s heater helped. The staff were really nice, but we couldn’t get into the room until 5:00pm and had to leave by 9:00am the next day. That felt a little odd. The location works well for Disney, since the station is right there and Maihama is about six minutes away. Apart from convenience stores, there’s not much nearby, and the neighborhood feels industrial. It wasn’t a completely comfortable stay.

The receptionist was kind and gave us a warm welcome. My concern was the parking: there are three types with different rates, and I expected one flat rate that would be cheaper than parking outside. The room was a little small for four people. Everything else was fine, and I liked the hotel. Thanks for the warm service.

I wasn’t sure about the place at first, but after a couple of days I’d grown fond of the room. The staff were lovely, the Wi-Fi was rock solid, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Being so close to the station was a real plus. I’d stay again as a base for visiting the Disney resorts.
