Cyclo No Ie

The drop-off is just a few feet away, and there are eateries, a brewery and the post office nearby. The place was clean and felt safe, with a lovely community area. It was incredibly convenient for my last day of cycling. I'd highly recommend it for cyclists and anyone travelling on a budget.

The pods are perfect and cost 3200 yen a night. Beds and showers are fine, and everything was spotless. I spent three months visiting Japan, and this could probably be the best hostel I stayed at. The staff are the nicest, with good English, and make you feel at home. Their restaurant recommendations are the best. There's a nice shared area with a simple kitchen where you can meet other travellers. It's next to the station and a great place to stay in Imabarl.

Their website for the Shimanami route pulls together just about everything bikers need to know, making it easy to plan a trip. I really appreciate the effort they put into gathering all that useful information. The hostel also offers luggage delivery, which lets bikers enjoy the ride freely. Masa San and the other staff were so welcoming and helpful with all my questions. Thank you so much. I'll come again!

Masa was a huge help and gave us a map and recommendations for our cycling trip. We also got to meet other travellers setting out on the same Shimanami Kaido ride and swap information over breakfast. It's a great place to start or finish the trip. Be sure to take a photo with the mural outside. Highly recommend!
