The front desk male staff member gave us the best service I’ve experienced. He was attentive, clearly cared about helping, and kept going out of his way to make things easy and comfortable. There were four of us, and we were impressed by how roomy and comfortable our room was. The shared dining hall is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking and eating together convenient. We’d happily stay here again.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with soft futons and warm duvets. We slept well every night, and the large in-room fridge kept our groceries fresh. Each room has its own toilet and sink, though showers and baths are shared and separated by gender. The bath is on the lowest floor, so getting there means going down and back up quite a few stairs, which could be hard if you have mobility issues. The location is a bit out of town and away from other amenities, but it’s close enough by car. If you’re coming without one, stock up on food first. This is a self-catering place, and the cooking and dining setup is more than adequate: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, portable gas burners, salt, pepper, cooking oil, microwaves, and toaster ovens. Just clean up after yourselves. There’s also a big lounge with manga and a putting practice green. We booked without expecting much, but it met our needs perfectly and was great value for the price. The staff member was very friendly and kind, and his translator app made communication easy. We loved the place and would come again if we return to Inawashiro.

A decent hotel with friendly, soft-spoken staff. We had a great stay.

A quiet, pleasant place. If you’re coming by public transit, be sure to take a taxi from the station. Also, make sure to turn down the fridge and heater.
