Karchibe Ishigaki

We traveled with an infant and the stay worked out really well. The place was comfortable, nice, and clean, with great parking, a good TV, free Netflix and washing machine, and perfect WiFi. For a budget stay in Ishigaki, this is probably the best. Rent a car and you can enjoy the island from here. The only issue was the AC. It was noisy and very strong, so even at 30 degree we had to turn it off often because it got freezing.

We've stayed at Karchibe twice this year on our two trips to Ishigaki. The rooms are super clean, with the living room and kitchen downstairs and bedrooms and bath upstairs. We like cooking our own meals because we're health conscious, so it suits us perfectly. Max Value and Sanei are about a 15-minute walk away, and Don Quixote is around 7 minutes away. There's parking, and the staff greet us with big smiles. I highly recommend Karchibe Ishigaki!

A nice, affordable room with good service, and the bus stop is an easy walk away. The place is set up properly and has privacy too. The kitchen utensils are in very good condition, with enough for a family.

The room was very clean, and they provided plenty of towels. The washing machine and dryer were handy, and although I brought detergent, they had some there too. There's a FamilyMart about a 5-minute walk away, with a bakery that sells delicious bread. Don Quijote is nearby as well. It's an apartment hotel with the bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room upstairs, plus toilets on both floors. I had sprained my ankle before the trip, so going up and down was a hassle. Luckily, there's a sofa bed downstairs, where I slept and only went up to take baths. The walls between rooms are thin, so families with children can make it noisy. Some foreign guests may be quite inconsiderate too, which could be stressful. A little musty smell seems hard to avoid in this area. The parking spaces are narrow, so larger cars need to use a lot a little farther away.
