KOKYU ISHIGAKI Tida

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the inn really stuck with me. The scenery changed through the day, and I found myself taking a deep breath, just like the name suggests. There are two toilets and sinks, a big refrigerator, and laundry and drying facilities, which make it practical for long stays or larger groups. The view, location, facilities, and value were all great. It works as a base for the main sights, or as a place to get away from everyday noise and experience Ishigaki. I'll come back.

We had a large group in mid-September, and the three rooms plus the Japanese-style room's spacious tatami area gave everyone room to relax. The kitchen was set up for cooking, with a large refrigerator for storing ingredients, and the accommodation was clean with all the essentials. There's a big lawn and a covered terrace, where we could look out at the Ishigaki sea by day and the stars, including the Milky Way, at night. The living room's large windows made it easy to enjoy the scenery indoors too. The sunset over the water was the best part. Yaima Village is nearby, and Ishigaki city center is about a 15-minute drive away. Since it's a bit outside the center, you get to enjoy the island's natural surroundings. We'd definitely stay here again.

It was such a relaxing place, with a lovely sea view from the garden. Besides the living room, there are three rooms with two beds in each, so it works well for a larger group.

I liked having cooking utensils and a large fridge, so we could make our own meals and take it easy. The airport, city center, Kabira Bay, and Yonehara Beach are each around a 20-minute drive away. The room was clean and white, and after doing things in the water it was handy to rinse off at the tap on the terrace. Best of all was the amazing sunset and ocean view from the living room window. It was a memorable stay, and next time I'd like to come back and spend more time just enjoying the inn.
