Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the host replied quickly. I had a really comfortable stay and would definitely use this accommodation again. Thank you!
The ocean view was fantastic, but the terrace wood was rotting and access was prohibited. The pool seems ideal for families with children. It’s a fairly old building, with a spacious living room and two other private rooms inside. The plumbing seems worn out: the water heater temperature was unstable, and the toilet had trouble filling its tank.
We were eight adults and three kids, staying for 3 nights and 4 days, and the place worked especially well for a family with several children. The pool is right there, and the kids loved it so much they kept wanting to jump in. They even got in during the BBQ, then talked about the pool all the way home in the car, lol. It’s shallow enough for adults to put their feet in easily. There’s plenty of space, and the kitchen has the cooking tools and cutlery you need. Condiments were available, but no sugar. There was salt and yakiniku sauce, both half-used, so they may have been left by the previous guest. It’s luck of the draw. The BBQ was easy to light with charcoal and a burner, and there are two grilling spots, a brick-built area and a BBQ stand. At night the stars are beautiful, so look up. I think two cars is the limit, so talk to the manager if you have a third. Great for kids who love pools! \(^o^)/
At night, the stars were so clear that I could lie in bed and see a sky full of them through the window. It’s an unforgettable place, and Minato Beach is also within walking distance, so we got to enjoy northern Ishigaki’s nature. Yonehara Beach, Blue Cave, and Kabira Bay are nearby. I love camping and do it often in Korea, so being able to have a barbecue here was a real treat. We bought Ishigaki pork and beef at a supermarket in the south and grilled them while the kids swam in the outdoor pool. It felt like bliss. There aren’t any supermarkets nearby, so it’s best to shop ahead of time, like you would for a camping trip. If you’re after the quiet of the northern region, this is a perfect spot.
We had the pool and an easy BBQ, since the grill and charcoal were provided and we only needed to bring the ingredients. The view and atmosphere were wonderful, and there was plenty of space to ourselves. Everyone was very satisfied after our 2 nights and 3 days here, with two families of 7 adults and 3 children each.
