The views were incredible from every side of the building, and the price was much more reasonable than I expected, though maybe we caught a special rate or time. The location worked well too. It’s not right in the center, but close enough to stations to get where you need to go. The property has a fun 90s retro feel in Osaka. It’s been kept just as it was when it opened in 1996, yet it doesn’t feel aged at all, and everything seemed new. The building is enormous and has everything you need. Our room was great, with a comfortable bed, a good bathroom, and the other things you’d expect from a hotel like this. The staff were superb. Most of the other guests seemed to be Japanese, which spared us the cruise terminal feel you get at some of the city’s more touristy hotels.

The riverside setting is peaceful, even though the hotel sits a bit away from the busiest shopping and nightlife areas. Getting around by train or shuttle is manageable. Inside, the classic five-star feel starts in the elegant lobby, and the whole place is clean and beautifully looked after. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with premium amenities, a Nespresso machine, and nicely presented details. Breakfast stood out too, with lots of choice and food that felt refined and well prepared. The staff were always polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful. A lovely place for a relaxing, luxurious stay in Osaka. 😊

We loved our stay, and the staff were friendly and very polite. The concierge desk handled our luggage receipt and forwarding, and filling out the details with the QR code was really easy. We also enjoyed Cafe Couvert, which had a good range of dishes for different tastes. The hotel was a short way from the bustle of Dotonbouri, and the free shuttle to Osaka station was convenient.

I liked the spacious rooms and bathrooms, and the shower had strong water pressure. The hotel has a classic five-star style, with excellent service and staff who clearly care about looking after guests. Its riverside location is great for a morning run. Breakfast comes as either a Western buffet or a Japanese-style meal. If you’re visiting from abroad, the Japanese option is worth a try.

The shuttle to Osaka station runs every 20 minutes, which made getting around easy, and the hotel is well located. The room was large and comfortable, and the price felt very reasonable for this level of accommodation and service. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely book here again next time.
